Terms of service

These terms apply when you use Hook My Day, an online booking service run by Hook My Day ("we", "us"). By creating an account or booking through Hook My Day you agree to them.

The service

Hook My Day lets professionals ("hosts") publish a booking page, take appointments and, if they choose, take payments from their clients. Clients can book without an account.

Your account

• You must give correct details and keep your password safe.
• You are responsible for everything done through your account.
• You must be at least 18 years old, or use the service with a guardian's permission.

Free trial and subscription

• New accounts get a free trial of 14 days. No payment is needed to start.
• After the trial you need a paid plan to keep your booking page open.
• Plans renew automatically each month or year until you cancel. Prices are shown on our pricing page, and GST is charged where it applies.
• If a renewal payment fails, we give you a short grace period before the account is paused.

Payments to hosts

Hosts who take payment for sessions connect their own payment gateway account. Those payments go directly to the host, and the host is responsible for their own prices, invoices, taxes and refunds to their clients. We are not a party to that payment.

Acceptable use

You must not use Hook My Day to break the law, send spam, collect data you are not allowed to collect, harm other users, or try to break or overload the service.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you add (your profile, meeting types, client details). You allow us to store and process it only to run the service for you.

Availability

We work hard to keep Hook My Day running, but we cannot promise it will never be interrupted. We may change or improve features over time.

Ending your account

You can cancel at any time from your billing page. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms. After an account is closed we delete its data within a reasonable time, unless the law requires us to keep it.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profit or missed appointments.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is significant we will tell you by email or in the app before it applies.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in India have jurisdiction.
